Meet our Judges
Dakota Quickle Goat Judge Living in Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Dakota has grown up involved in rural agriculture. After graduating from Oklahoma State University with an Animal Science degree, he knew he wanted to come back home, help out on the family farm and run Triple D Genetics. Dakota currently has around 300 mature ewes and raises 4-H and FFA projects for kids across the nation. Dakota is also am an Agriculture Education instructor in Frederick, OK where he is lucky enough to work with 75 students on a daily basis; helping them achieve their goals in the agricultural world. |
Austin Kindschi Hog Judge Born and raised in Orlando, OK, Austin Kindschi, alongside his family, started raising showpigs with 2 sows. As his showpig operation grew, this venture led him to win the National FFA Swine Entrepreneurship Proficiency in 2010. ... Today, both he and his father Kenny manage Real Time Genetics and sell showpigs across the country winning at all levels of competition. Austin also competed on several national wining judging teams. After graduating from Oklahoma State in 2015, he found his way into the teaching profession & Austin is now working as an Agricultural Education Instructor at Prague High School in Prague, OK. |
Caleb Boardman Sheep Judge Caleb Boardman is the University of Wyoming’s livestock judging coach and an assistant lecturer in the Department of Animal Science. Boardman grew up in Frannie, Wyoming on a family owned cow/calf operation. Growing up Mr. Boardman and his brother, Jared, owned a small sheep flock of about 60-70 black faced ewes, that they competitively showed and sold in their region. Boardman’s passion for livestock judging started at a very young age. He was later recruited and joined the livestock judging team at Texas A&M in College Station, Texas. There, he earned a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness and his master’s degree in animal science with a ruminant nutrition emphasis. For the two years while earning his master’s, Boardman had the opportunity to be the assistant coach for Texas A&M’s livestock judging team. |
Shellie Collins SteeR Judge Shellie was born in southwest Kansas into a Hereford and farming operation. She is a 5th generation Hereford breeder who loves all things cattle. Breeding, calving, feeding out, and showing but most of all she loves the kids and families who raise livestock. Shellie attended Butler County community college and was on their champion Kansas City and Louisville team. She then went on to become a Member of Ryan Rathmann’s First national champion Team at Texas A&M And was also named an all American. Shellie and her husband have a cow/calf operation that focuses on show steers. They have raised and shown many grand champion steers; Four OYE grand champions. She loves God Family and country.
