Video Requirements
Photo & Video Submission
- A photo (side profile of the animal) and video of each show entry must be submitted with each entry.
- The video must be a minimum of 30 seconds long and no longer than 90 seconds.
- Cell phone photos & videos are encouraged. Videos should be no larger than 4GB .
- Be sure to hold the camera sideways(LANDSCAPE) while shooting the photo and video, not vertically.
- Please keep in mind that videos need to be taken outside with a background clear of visual distractions. Photos and videos will be released for viewing of classes along with results.
- All entries will need to include in the video a clearly visible EXHIBITOR ID tag provided on this page. Follow directions for visibility of tag. Animal's identification i.e.tag or notches also needs to be visible and readable at some point in the video, as well as the exhibitors face.
- DO NOT state your name, club or any details about your project. No talking is permitted in the submitted video. No text, music, or sound of any kind may be included on the photo or in video.
- Video should include a clear front, side, and rear view of the animal. Cattle/Sheep/Goat videos will need a standing setup shot captured in the video. Try to video on a flat surface with nothing obstructing the view of the hoof / pasterns.
- The video must include the animal walking toward, away from, and on the profile.
- Fitting is encouraged, just like they would at the show.
- Exhibitor should be in FFA/4H uniform in the photo and video, just like at the fair. The focus of video should be on the animal; however, the video must include a full body shot with the exhibitors face visible at some point. Note: If using the same video for a showmanship entry remember to be also exhibiting your showmanship abilities i.e. eye contact, body positioning and the relationship between you and the animal. As well as the animals conformation. One entry/video per exhibitor for showmanship.
- No editing of the photo or video. Video should be one take with no stopping and starting or breaks. No overlays.
- The photo & video must be taken within a 10-day window of the show’s entry closing deadline, date of video is included on the exhibitor ID tag.
- All video submissions MUST be uploaded to YouTube and the link for the video submitted upon the time of entry.

After uploading, choose to “Copy Video URL.” This is the link that you’ll use to enter.

Exhibitor ID Tag

Download and print the exhibitor ID tag. This ID card must be clearly visible on the exhibitor in the one of the following locations; on a show clip, pinned to arm, back or pocket.
